Hello All. I'm wondering what you all think the role of local media should be in collective leadership. I just came back from a Journalism that Matters conference at Wayne State University in Detroit, where several active and former media professionals gathered with local community activists, bloggers and other new media types. We had three days of robust conversation about innovative ways legacy and new media can do a better job of covering local news and helping the various communities engage with each other. I'm wondering what ideas my CLE colleagues have that might be worth repeating to the JTM group. Besides, I'm curious about what media innovations are going on in your communities. So, let's talk!
